By booking a trip on the Super Hawk, you agree to the terms below. These terms exist so every guest has a safe, fair and enjoyable day on the water.
Reservations & payment
- Reservations are taken by phone at (516) 607-3004 with a valid credit card.
- Open-boat trips are first-come, first-served when space allows.
- Private charters require a deposit to hold the date; balance is due before sailing.
Weather & cancellations
- The captain has sole authority to cancel a trip for unsafe weather, mechanical reasons or sea conditions.
- If we cancel, you will be offered a reschedule or a full refund — no penalty.
- Guest-initiated cancellation policy varies by trip type and season; we will explain it on the booking call.
- Light rain or chop does not typically cancel a trip — dress for the weather.
Safety & conduct
- The captain's and crew's instructions must be followed at all times.
- Closed-toe, non-slip footwear is required on deck.
- Guests visibly intoxicated may be denied boarding at the captain's discretion.
- Alcohol on private charters and cruises requires prior approval.
Fishing regulations
Recreational saltwater fishing on a licensed party or charter boat in New York is covered under the vessel's permit; you do not need a personal saltwater license. New York State keeper sizes and bag limits apply and will be briefed before fishing.
Assumption of risk
Fishing and boating involve inherent risks (slippery decks, hooks, sea conditions). By boarding the vessel you acknowledge these risks. Super Hawk Fishing, its crew, owners and affiliates are not liable for personal injury or property loss except as required by law.
Photos taken aboard
We occasionally take photos and short videos aboard for use on our website and social channels. If you'd prefer not to appear, let the crew know at boarding and we'll keep you out of frame.
